General Merit List (Provisional List) for the admission to B.Des - Fashion Design - Academic year 2017 

 

Entrance Examination for Admission to B.Des - Fashion Design course for the academic year 2017 is scheduled to conduct during the 2nd week of June 2017. The hall tickets will be despatched by post for the candidates. Those students who have not received the hall tickets by 07th June 2017, may contact office for further details.  The details of the proposed examination is as follows.

General Ability Test : 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM

Creative Ability Test : 11.15 AM to 01.15 PM

Personal Interview : 02.00 PM Onwards

The Instructions given below are to be followed strictly.

  • Candidates shall not bring any electronic or other InfoTech gadgets to the examination Hall
  • Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited inside the Examination Hall
  • Candidate should report 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidate should carry the following documents /items for the entrance examination
  • Hall Ticket, Blue / Black Ball Point Pen, Pencils, Sharpener, Eraser, Scale / Ruler & Colour Pencils, Scissors, and Fevicol.

 

General Information to the Candidates

  • Reservation for admission to B.Des – Fashion Design is as per the Kerala University norms.

  • All the candidates who seek reservation in admission have to produce the necessary original certificates including income and community certificates. (Please ignore if submitted already)

  • Candidates belonging to “Economically backward among forward communities” have to produce the BPL certificate issued by the competent authority (Please ignore if submitted already)

  • There is no negative mark for the test

  • The entrance examination consists of two sections (as mentioned below) followed by Personal Interview. 

    • Section 01: General Ability Test

    • Section 02: Creative Ability Test

  • General Ability Section consists of 100 questions which include Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

  • Creative Ability Section consists of situation based questions, which is aimed at Judging the skill, power of observation, innovation and design ability of the candidate. Candidates have to visually represent their creativity by illustrations and colours.
